The course will also train and advise you on how to run a business.
The course includes 4 modules:
1. Teaching English
2. Learning disabilities
3. Supervised Practical Experience
4. Business Development
100 hours (some of which are elective) + 30 hours of practice
Background
Aviv- Teaching English Differently - was founded about 15 years ago by Daniella (De Winter) Aviv. Aviv English operates classes and courses in about 10 locations in the center of Israel. More than half of its students are LD's who have managed in an extremely short period of time to minimize their learning gaps and to reach great achievements.
The methods developed by Daniella are unique and sometimes revolutionary.
Daniella admits she teaches according to her principles and beliefs , in her own bubble and those who believe in her benefit!
Today, parallel to the everyday work she wants to share, to educate, to teach and to train those who have interest in teaching and or establishing their own afternoon business.
This is a very special course and first of its kind since it integrates teaching methods and practical work together with practical tips and guidance on how to develop a business of your own.
At the end of the course the student will receive a certificate and a license to use Aviv's methods.

The program
I. LD Module
1. The various disabilities and their influence on the learning process - 5 hours
2. Dyslexia – 5 hours
3. How to facilitate learning for the LD learner -5 hours
4. The self image of the LD student and how to improve his/her self confidence. -5 hours
5. Various therapeutic and remedial methods to improve the learning process. –8 hours
6. Coaching the LD student and his family. - 3 hours
Total of 30 hours – NIS 2,700
II. English teaching module
1. SoftRead–the method that bypasses dyslexia – 12 hours
2. SoftWord and Side by Side – the basics –12 hours
3 Reading comprehension – 10 hours
4 English for adults - 6 hours
5 English for business people – 5 hours
Total 45 hours – NIS 6,200
The price includes samples of each module.
III Practicum
30 hours of practical work at Aviv's classes, courses, summer projects and marathons.
This module is compulsory to be certified.
IV. The Business Module
1. Starting an English teaching business –5 hours
2. Potential clients and business connections.
3. Marketing and advertising
4. 10 first business tips
Total of 20 hours –NIS 1,900
· Total cost of all modules is NIS 10,800 VAT inclusive
· English teaching and the practicum are compulsory.
· If you have specialized before in learning disabilities you may be exempt from this module pending your certificates. The business module is elective.
Payment policy-
· Up to 3 checks or up to 6 payments by credit card.
· Attendance policy - not less than 80% attendance
· Payments need to be settled by 2 weeks before the beginning of the course.
· In special cases also more payments will be possible.
At the end of the course a certificate will be given to certify the participant to become a teacher by Aviv's methods and pending the completion of the practicum a license will be granted to allow the participant to use Aviv's methods.
